How to buy LEGO pieces from lego.com

In your eggybricks order, you will receive three copies of the parts list in different formats.

  1. The printed parts list at the back of the instructions
  2. A LEGO online pick-a-brick CSV Parts List
  3. A BrickLink XML Parts List

The best way to shop for pieces is through LEGO online Pick-a-brick or through BrickLink.

In 2024, LEGO released a parts list upload feature in their online Pick-a-brick shop. If this feature is available in your region, we recommend buying your parts via lego.com using this tool and then purchasing any unavailable parts through BrickLink. This is usually cheaper because of shipping costs from BrickLink.

Go to LEGO.com Pick-a-brick at https://www.lego.com/pick-and-build/pick-a-brick and upload your LEGO Pick-a-brick CSV Parts List.

If there are any unavailable parts, download the list of unavailable parts or note them so you can use these element IDs to search for them in Bricklink.

Close this overlay to return to your list of pieces.

Pick the selected pieces, then add these pieces to your bag to purchase.

Then check out as usual and you're good to go!

If there are any unavailable parts, you can buy these pieces from BrickLink by searching with the Element IDs that we saved earlier. Check out our guide to buying pieces from BrickLink here.

Note: If any of your unavailable parts are the Train Motor (Element ID: 6214559) or the PoweredUp Hub/Battery Box (Element ID: 6370369), these aren't available in the Pick-a-brick section, but may be available on lego.com if you search "Train Motor" or "Hub" respectively or follow the links.
